Gigzys LLC ("Gigzys," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties — ever.

2. Information We Collect

From Providers:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Business name, service category, service areas
• Bio, portfolio photos, certifications, and license documents
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Profile photos and uploaded images

From Customers:

• Email address and name (when creating an account)
• Saved providers and contact history (stored locally on your device)Reviews you submit

Automatically collected:

• Basic usage data (pages visited, search queries) for platform improvement
• Device type and browser for compatibility purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your listing on the platform (Providers)
• Process subscription payments (Providers)
• Allow customers to contact you directly
• Send platform-related communications (account updates, approval notifications)
• Improve the platform and fix issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Contact Information on Listings

When a Provider sets their contact preferences to show their email or phone number, that information is displayed to logged-in customers on the platform. Providers control what contact information is shown and can update it at any time through the Provider Portal.

Customers who choose to display their name in reviews do so voluntarily. By default, only the first part of a customer's email is shown with their review.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based platform with industry-standard encryption and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on Gigzys servers.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

Gigzys uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Supabase — database and file storage.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and security.

These services are used solely to operate the platform. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics platforms that share your data with advertisers.

7. Cookies

Gigzys uses minimal cookies — primarily for maintaining your login session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Your saved providers and contact history are stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Update your contact preferences at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Gigzys is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to the platform, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
